Fatoum graduated from Victoria University with a double degree in Law and Legal Practice Management. Fatoum founded Souki Lawyers through her vision and personal experience and its development has reflected the soundness and depth of both her legal, management and social skills, knowledge and commitments.
Fatoum’s experience over the last few years, especially in the running of her own practice lender her extensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of family law, commercial and property law. Fatoum understands the importance of balancing commercial reality with the need to finalise dispute.
Fatoum is passionate about social justice and community service. Fatoum currently assists numerous organisation including Victorian Arabic Social Services, Australian Arabic Women’s Group and Australian Islamic Centre. Fatoum was awarded the Victorian Women Lawyers 2009-2010 Community Justice Award. The Community Justice Award is given in recognition of a recently admitted lawyer who demonstrates a commitment to issues related to women and justice. She was also a recipient of the Hobson’s Bay City Council 2013 Inspirational Women Award, in celebration of the positive contributions she has made within the community.
Fatoum is a Registered Migration Agent and can assist in all areas of Migration Law.
She has a professional membership with the Law Institute of Victoria and is bilingual and can converse fluently in Arabic.
